As buildings become increasingly dependent on high-speed communication infrastructure, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and performance requirements has become essential. This study proposes an approach that utilizes Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) to automate the compliance review of high-speed internet and communication facilities. To achieve this, relevant provisions from building codes and communication standards were extracted and structured into a rule-based database. Based on this, a verification logic and workflow were designed for IFC-based rule checking. This study aims to establish a system that automates regulatory compliance verification using Building Information Modeling (BIM) data and generates detailed review reports. The research process includes rule extraction, classification, application, and testing, providing a comprehensive explanation of the workflow. Through automation, this approach enhances the efficiency of design and review processes while improving the accuracy and consistency of regulatory compliance checks.
