Integrating BIM with energy simulation tools poses challenges, particularly in heat transfer analysis preparation. This study introduces a streamlined process for exporting BIM models from Revit and Archicad to DXF for TRISCO-based evaluation. The method defines material layers, ensures closed boundaries, and applies fill-based outlines (Archicad) or system/general families (Revit). Revit retains the advantage of maintaining more parametric data. However, improvements are needed in layer configuration efficiency due to block errors and unclosed lines. In contrast, Archicad allows smoother DXF exports with minimal adjustments, though repetitive tasks still require improved operational efficiency. This study enhanced data consistency through clear naming conventions, improving compatibility with heat transfer analysis tools. The proposed workflow also supports automation add-in development, increasing evaluation efficiency and reducing manual work.
