Writing Manuscript
1. The manuscript shall be written in Korean or English. In Korean manuscript, English terms can be used when necessary; and in case of using English, only the first letter of a sentence shall be capitalized, except for proper nouns.
The paper template established by the Society for Computational Design and Engineering (see http://journal.cde.or.kr) should be applied to the manuscript so that it can be directly printed for publishing on the Transactions, and be attached by the “Check List for Paper Cover and Manuscript” to identify whether the manuscript is appropriately written.
3. The manuscript shall be written on the basis of the followings.
- (1) The first page shall contain the title (Korean or English), names and affiliations of the authors, English abstract(100 to 200 words), key words (within 10 words), and email addresses of the authors.
- (2) The manuscript shall contain paragraphs given serial numbers such as 1, 2, 3, 3.1, 3.2, with figures and tables at appropriate locations.
- (3) Acknowledgements(if necessity)
- (4) References
- (5) Appendix (when appropriate)
4. (Units and Abbreviations) The numbers in the manuscript shall be Arabian numbers and the units of the quantities shall be shall be the SI units. Abbreviations can be used for frequent terms and should be clearly defined when firstly used.
5. (Formulas and Special Symbols) The mathematical formulas shall be the forms shown on the final paper, expressed at the right side of the formulas in parentheses as the Arabic numbers of the serial numbers. Special symbols should be clearly defined when firstly used.
6. (Figures and Tables) Figures and tables shall be expressed as the Arabic numbers of the serial numbers such as “Table 1” and “Fig. 1," and figures shall be on the top and table shall be on the bottom. Figures include graphs, photos, and diagrams. When colors are used for figures and tables, the colors should be proper so that they are clearly expressed even when the file is printed in black and white for photographing.
7. (Acknowledgements) Acknowledgements should be written in English
